Not doing any tricks? I think you need to look closer. At first I thought he was jumping towards the camera, not tricking. But when I looked closer, I realized he is jumping away from the camera spinning a 360. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, those bars do look rediculously long, especially for a small travel bike.

I believe we have a misunderstanding here. I know my suspension designs. I never said the suspension on this bike was like FSR. It's similar to the Demo due to the fact that the shock is driven off of the chainstay, instead of the seatstay. Actually, in my original post I mentioned the lack of an FSR Pivot. What I meant was that this bike looks similar, and shares the chainstay driven shock that the demo has. I realize the suspension works completely differently. I thought it was a linkage driven single pivot until I read diroc's comment. When I took a closer look at the more detailed pictures on here, I saw the one that clearly shows the lower link, which makes this a virtual pivot bike. I like it.

I thought this was the new demo at first. Very smart of Banshee to copy specialized's theory of having the shock driven by the chainstay, as opposed to the seatstay, and then having a rocker link between the seatpost and the seatstay. It's similar to the demo, but withouth the FSR pivot. It looks like this bike would have a nice low center of gravity, and a really stiff rear end. I also like the low standover height, and the slack angles. Very nice Banshee, very nice.

Yes, $2000 was a low-ball offer. I agree that this bike is worth much more. The frame/wheels/and fork alone are probably worth $2000. If you haven't sold it in about a month, I might have more money saved up, and I'll hit you up.

You need to lower your asking price if you ever want to sell that bike. Look at what other people are asking. That is probably the nicest demo 9 I've seen on here, but the 8's and 7's are much more desirable these days. Bikes lose a lot of value with age. Being from Clinton, CT myself, I'm sure this bike was never ridden to it's potential, so the price is reasonable, but it won't sell at that price. I'll give you 2g's

Really nice looking bike. I love the lack of decals. Stealth Mode.

X-tremewolvorine,
1st of all. I do not think this is photoshopped. If I'm wrong I will take your advice; leave pinkbike, and never ride a mountain bike again. You are an idiot.

I agree with the poster above. Don't get an ironhorse unless your getting a really good deal. Sure they win races, but do they last? My buddy is having problems with his 7 point. They are related to poor frame build quality. His bottom linkage is con
